What's the difference between the Ultra Shot M-Spec, A-Spec and R-Spec?
The M-Spec models use a magnesium alloy housing, an IP68 waterproof rating (to 40 ft) and a 65 MOA circle-dot crosshair reticle with night vision settings. The A-Spec and R-Spec use a 6061-T6 aluminum housing, are IP55 water resistant and offer four reticle patterns. The A-Spec adds night vision compatible brightness settings, and the R-Spec lets you choose red or green illumination.
What do FMS and LQD mean?
FMS models use a fixed Picatinny mount that bolts to your rail. LQD is a locking quick-detach mount, so you can take the sight off and put it back on quickly without tools.
Are Ultra Shot sights night vision compatible?
The M-Spec models have six dedicated night vision brightness settings, and the A-Spec includes a night vision setting. The R-Spec doesn't have dedicated night vision settings.
What battery does an Ultra Shot use?
Every Ultra Shot runs on a single CR123A battery, rated for roughly 200 to 2,000 hours depending on brightness setting. The M-Spec Pro is rated for up to 65,000 hours on lower daytime settings.
