UltraShot Red Dot Sight Series: Rugged Reflex Optics for Every Shooter

(MANSFIELD, TEXAS 2018/05/18) – Sightmark is proud to announce the release of the latest generation of Ultra Shot reflex sights, ripe with upgrades and a fresh new design. With three available models—R, A, and M-Spec—Sightmark has created resilient close-range optics perfect for everything from target shooting to law enforcement and military operations on both AR platform firearms and shotguns. All RAM series UltraShot red dot sights are now powered by a CR123A battery, which provides superior battery life (200–2,000 hours) over other red dots and reflex sights. A wide lens quickens target acquisition while helping to maintain a wide FOV. Quick-detach models include an improved QD lever allowing a low profile to keep the sights from snagging on gear or unlatching during the heat of the moment.

What Makes the UltraShot Red Dot Sight Different?

The UltraShot series offers shooters a rugged, high-performance reflex sight platform. Built for quick target acquisition, these red dot sights use a parallax-corrected lens with a crisp illuminated reticle. Their durability, intuitive features, and adaptability to different shooting environments make them a top-tier option in the reflex sight market.

Ultra Shot R-Spec: Versatile and Affordable

Ideal for target shooting and hunting, the Ultra Shot R-Spec (SM26031), or Range Spec, features four reticle options with red or green illumination and a new low battery indicator which prompts the reticle to blink when power is low. The R-Spec boasts 10 brightness levels, ranging from low-light indoor settings to bright outdoor environments. Its slotted windage and elevation adjustments can be changed with a flathead screwdriver or any common tool—making field adjustments simple and fast.

Ultra Shot A-Spec: Night Vision Ready

The aluminum-constructed Ultra Shot A-Spec (SM26032), or Advanced Spec model, retains all the updates found in the R-Spec but adds six night vision brightness settings. This makes it compatible with a variety of night vision devices, ideal for low-light hunting or nighttime tactical training. The A-Spec also includes an aluminum protective shield to enhance durability during rugged use.

Ultra Shot M-Spec: Built for Combat and Hard Use

The most durable and advanced UltraShot red dot sight, the M-Spec LQD (SM26034) and M-Spec FMS (SM26035), were designed with military and law enforcement in mind. These models are waterproof up to 40 feet and shockproof enough to endure the recoil of a .50 BMG rifle. Their fixed mount systems ensure stability and return-to-zero reliability.

Smart Power Management and Motion Activation

The M-Spec series features motion-sensing technology to prolong battery life. The unit automatically shuts off after 5 minutes of inactivity but immediately powers back on with motion detection. A 12-hour automatic shutoff provides additional energy conservation while keeping the optic combat-ready when needed.

Integrated Sunshade and Rugged Optics

All UltraShot M-Spec models include an integrated retractable sunshade. This reduces lens glare and protects the objective from elements like rain, snow, or dust—making the UltraShot red dot sight one of the most versatile and durable reflex optics available today.
